Why are we a Trane dealer?

As with any brand we partner with, the support network behind it is more important than the product it self. That’s not to say the product isn’t important – we’re simply saying the product is useless without support.

So why Trane?

Longevity: Trane has had a long standing reputation for quality with good reason. Their testing procedures and technology development focus on long-term reliability over rushing the latest and greatest ideas into the field. We’ve seen too many brands rush products into the market without the data proving they’re ready. We love cutting edge technology and efficiency, but we won’t subject our clients to unproven systems.
Availability: Our supplier is a big reason we choose Trane. They have the equipment we need readily available for emergency replacements. They also have replacement parts immediately accessible so we can get our clients back up and running quickly.
Salt-water Corrosion Resistance: Most of our clients live within a couple miles of salt water, where corrosion really takes a toll. Outdoor equipment simply doesn’t last as long here, compared to farther inland. As we replace 20 year old, even 30 year old Trane condensers, the coils are in almost as good condition as the day they were installed. We see other manufacturers completely falling apart after only 8-10 years. This is due to the all aluminum coil design that gets away from the copper/aluminum coils that most other manufacturers utilize. Those two dissimilar metals in a salt water environment lead to a very short life span.
Warranty: A ten-year warranty isn’t uncommon on quality brands. A hassle-free experience acquiring and processing claims is uncommon. A well installed system rarely needs replacement parts under warranty. When we need them, we can get them.
Brand Recognition: One of the reasons Trane has a good name as a quality brand, is that they have relatively high standards demanded of their dealers. There are three tiers of TCS (Trane Comfort Specialist) dealers – Select, Prime and Premier. As you work up from Select to Prime to Premier, the standards for training and reputation increase significantly. History of warranties plays a large part, as if a company has to submit a high volume of warranty issues, they likely aren’t adhering to proper installation practices. We’re proud to say we’re a TCS Premier dealer, because of who we are as a team. This might sound a little arrogant, but it wasn’t that hard for us because of the hard work that is already being done.
