Why do we choose Mitsubishi?

First and foremost, when it comes to choosing a system, the brand manufacturer of the equipment is
secondary to whoever installs it. How a system is installed and maintained determines the
effectiveness and longevity of the design or manufacturer itself.

That being said, why do we choose Mitsubishi when it comes to ductless and variable speed heat pump technology?

Product Availability: It really comes down to the support network behind the product. Our primary supplier is outstanding. We consider them a partner. They have a huge inventory of Mitsubishi products and repair parts. If they don’t have what we need, we can get it from several other supply houses nearby. There is a tremendous amount of peace of mind for us in that. If we install a system and it needs a part – we need to know we can get it fast.
Training: Mitsubishi has an awesome training facility less than an hour from us. They offer hands-on training for every aspect of the product line. On top of that, they have extensive online trainings as well. As much as we think we know, this technology is ever-evolving – so we must also.
Warranty: Most of the higher quality brands like Mitsubishi have similar warranties. The key is how often you need to implement a warranty. We’ve found Mitsubishi to be highly reliable and durable. Once again, circling back to the first paragraph, that comes with proper installation. We have seen Mitsubishi systems live very short, unfortunate lives due to improper installation by others.
Replacement Parts: Mitsubishi commits to having replacement parts available for the duration of the anticipated useful life of every one of their systems. This is not the case with many (if not most) other manufacturers. We learn from our mistakes, as we experienced this with another manufacturer 15 years ago. A system we installed needed replacement parts after a lightning strike damaged some of the electronics. The system was only 5 years old and the parts were no longer available. That reflects poorly on us and our recommended solutions. We naturally took care of our client and learned an expensive lesson.
Familiarity: We’ve been installing Mitsubishi for over 30 years. We know the product and the company behind it. They also know us and our standards.
